An incredibly cool place! An hour at a bay with two people was perfect for us first time throwers. The drinks were incredible, and we especially loved the valentine's day drinks. The food is absolutely delicious. Overall, a chill, welcoming vibe. We will definitely be back!
We had a great time axe throwing, which was a lot of fun! They have lots of projector games to choose from and the host was super friendly and knowledgeable. We then had some tacos and collard greens after, which were amazing!
Our first visit here.. we didn't do the axe throwing but will next time..We did the 2 meat for 2 which came with 2 sides. (You get to pick) We didn't finish it all. Everything tasted very good. We had ribs and the pork brisket. We added tots and had a Margarita which u could taste the alcohol so your getting what ur paying for.. it was very delicious 😁
Fat Baby sliced brisket and brisket tacos were great! Old fashioned was on point. Axe throwing was fun. Spring for the throwing knives and throwing stars! The staff was super friendly! We’ll be back!
This place is awesome. Good food, good beer, and you get to throw sharp things at zombies. But what makes the experience even better is the staff. Our ax trainer, Tom, was outstanding, our food server (can't remember the name, but blonde with Rainier shirt) was a real professional and awesome at her job, and every staff member on duty was polite, personable, and contributing to a really fun experience. My friends and I will be back, and I would definitely recommend this place. It's even great for teenagers. They get to throw axes, which is still safer than them driving. Also, for context, I only write reviews when something is absolutely outstanding or absolutely terrible. This place is outstanding.
Not only is the axe throwing a ton of fun and a great date night or even family/group event! But the food and staff are also amazing! Ive not gotten a bad dish since going and my 16yo says these are her fave fries! Hubbie said the BBQ is on point comparing it to just as good as Busters. In fact i fear in writing this review well be competing for seating 😉 The staff are super helpful and friendly. Great customer service and attentive. It is a new family fave!
We had a pulled pork sandwich with a porter beer, and a brisket sandwich with sweet tea. They actually made the sweet tea correctly. The service was attentive and pleasant, location was slow at lunchtime. Parking was only difficult because of the farmers market.
We hosted our employee holiday party there and it was a blast. The food was delicious and there was plenty with extra for everyone to take home. All servers were very accommodating and checked in on us frequently. The only feedback I’d have is the shelf area along the back wall is small when your doing food and drinks with a large group but we made it work. Thank you for a fun evening 😊
Fairly good BBQ pulled pork and brisket. The tater tots loaded, we had with chopped brisket was delicious. The collard green weren't very good in my southern opinion, need some smoked ham hocks and a better natural salt, table salt sucks. It might help to have some apple cider vinegar or pepper vinegar on hand. The sweet was a pleaser for sure...I need to ask for lite ice next time.. The restaurant has a nice charm inside and comfortable. I found the staff, interacted with three of them to be warm, and willing to listen to verbal comments made during our visit. All in all...highly recommend Fat Baby X Blue Ox
Brisket is great! Sausage when they have it is my favorite. Texas style smoke flavor. Sides are rich and tasty. Drinks are great, beer selection is classic. Pretty late hours for DT Hillsboro, too! Ribs are GREAT and all about smoke... NOT sweet like janky places. More spicy, tangy, sweet sauce is available if you want it. It's great.
